A hand-laid granite retaining wall designed to support a raised garden and terrace beside the home. Finished with large natural stone caps, the structure adds definition to the landscape while complementing the home’s architecture.

A spacious natural granite flagstone terrace designed to create a comfortable lakeside outdoor living area. The irregular stone pattern complements the surrounding forest and provides a timeless setting for relaxing and entertaining.

This outdoor kitchen and BBQ area was built using a combination of locally quarried stone and natural stone sourced directly from the property. The masonry blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape while creating a durable and inviting space for outdoor cooking and gatherings.

Large natural granite steps connect the main cottage to the boathouse below. Carefully placed boulders frame the staircase and integrate the stonework naturally into the surrounding lakeside terrain.

A natural stone interior wall introduces texture and depth to this space while complementing the surrounding wood finishes. The carefully selected stone creates a timeless architectural element that reflects the rugged character of the Muskoka landscape.

A custom sawn and flamed stone floor defines this octagonal Muskoka room. The stonework follows the geometry of the space while the natural texture of the stone adds warmth and durability to the interior.

This wine cellar is finished with reclaimed brick veneer, giving the space the character and warmth of historic masonry. The aged brick tones create a timeless atmosphere that pairs perfectly with the natural stone inset and custom architectural details.

Large natural stone slabs were used to form these custom dock steps, creating a durable transition from the deck to the shoreline. The dark stone and layered masonry provide a clean architectural look while standing up to harsh waterfront conditions

This shoreline retaining wall was built using natural stone to stabilize the slope while blending naturally with the surrounding landscape. The layered stonework provides long-term shoreline protection while maintaining the character of the waterfront.

A custom stone staircase was constructed to provide safe and convenient access to the water. Built to withstand fluctuating water levels and harsh lake conditions, the stonework provides both structural durability and a timeless lakeside appearance.

Although it is tempting to try and patch over damage visible on the surface, cracks and crumbling mortar are often signs of underlying problems that need to be properly addressed. This often requires taking apart the masonry.
